As part of the month-long celebration of Hispanic Heritage, Einstein Students and Staff enjoyed Pupusas at lunch on Thursday, October 6th. Students learned that Pupusas salvadoreñas are a national dish from El Salvador, although they are also popular in other Latin American countries where the recipe has been adapted with different ingredients. Traditionally made with masa dough and filled with cheese, Salvadoran pupusas are served with a traditional Salvadoran cabbage relish that tickle the tastebuds!
