We are quickly approaching the end of the semester. Below is the academic plan for Core Course/End of Semester Final Exam Week (May 23-26, 2022).

Lower School Parents:

Lower School students enrolled in a High School class for credit are required to take a final exam. Lower School students should have all coursework turned in by Friday, May 27 by 4:00 PM.

Lower School students will attend their normal class schedule the week of May 23-26 and teachers will provide fun lessons tied to the semester’s curriculum or content. No new instruction will be given, but extra points will! Students will be thinking outside the box to complete group projects, creative assignments, and hands-on-activities.

High School Parents:

Final exams are for core, High School courses (Math, Science, English, Social Science, and Foreign Language). All students enrolled in these courses must take end-of-semester exams. High School elective classes may have exams at their teacher’s discretion; these will take place the final week of instruction (May 16-20) — not during finals week.

ALL semester work and assignments are due by 4:00 PM on Friday, May 27, 2022.

All students taking core course exams must attend their classes (1st-7th period) to receive their exams. Only students in attendance (in-person or virtual) will be allowed to begin their exams. Students will follow their usual semester class schedule.

Any student who completed individual finals early (at the discretion of their teacher) should still attend all Finals Days and use the available time to complete missing work, Honors assignments, or to study for their other final exams.

Final Exam Week Plan:

Monday, 23 May: Students begin exams for High School Math and High School Social Science classes ONLY. Students follow their usual class schedule.

Tuesday, 24 May: Students complete exams for High School Math and High School Social Science classes ONLY. Students follow their usual class schedule.

Wednesday, 25 May: Students begin exams for High School Science, High School English, and High School Foreign Language classes ONLY. Students follow their usual class schedule.

Thursday, 26 May: Students complete exams for High School Science, High School English, and High School Foreign Language classes ONLY. Students follow their usual class schedule.

Friday, 27 May: Campus is closed for all students to allow teachers time to grade coursework and update Canvas with any remaining grading. While campus is closed for students, please remember that all semester course work is due by 4:00 PM.

Students may still complete lunch orders for Monday (May 23) – Thursday (May 26) using the standard lunch ordering form.
