We are going to the movies!
On November 18th, the Einstein School has the opportunity to preview the documentary “Good Night Oppy”, the remarkable drama of NASA’s never-say-die Opportunity rover. Read more about this production here.
This school-wide educational field trip is a private XD showing for the Einstein School only and will be chaperoned by Einstein staff. Movie admission is free, and everyone will also receive popcorn and a drink!
Please drop your students off at 9:15 AM on Friday, November 18th, at the Cinemark West Theater (3800 Dallas Parkway, Plano TX 75093).
The Einstein campus will be closed to students on Friday morning until 12:00 PM. All morning classes are cancelled, and school will begin with lunch. 5th – 7th period classes will be conducted as normal.
If you are unable to drive your student from the theater to school at 11:30, Einstein teachers and parent volunteers will shuttle students to campus for afternoon classes. If you are able to help us transport students, please fill out this form. Parent volunteers are welcome to stay and watch the movie with us!
All participants will need to hand in Permission Form for Oppy Movie Screening, providing permission for the field trip and transportation if needed.
If you need any assistance with transportation to the theater from the school, or if you have any other questions, please contact us at AskEinstein.
