LS Introductory Spanish introduces the Spanish language to lower school students who have very little or no background in Spanish. Students will study some grammar but focus mainly on vocabulary, cultural experiences, history, geography, and differences in the Spanish-speaking world. Students develop listening and speaking skills are developed through reading text, listening to audio activities, and practicing dialogue. Students begin to develop the four basic language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
