This marks the launch of the 2020-2021 Einstein Clubs. Define your school year and get involved!
Information on all of the Einstein Clubs, and how to sign-up, can be found on Presence.
Here are some Club Highlights!
Einstein Athletics
After a year hiatus, Einstein Basketball is back! Beginning Thursday, September 16, interested students can play basketball with their fellow Einstein students after school from 4-6 PM every week! The cost is $150 per semester, which includes all court fees.
In addition, are you interested in helping? We need parent volunteers to drive students from campus to the church. Please let Erik Ramos or Aprill Hesse know ASAP if you are able to assist in this endeavor!
Einstein Chess Club
Are you interested in learning how to play chess? Are you interested in finding regular opponents to play? Are you interested in hanging out with fellow chess fans?
Be excited! Chess is back! On Wednesdays at Lunch, interested students can meet in Anne’s room to learn how to play, hang out, and find new opponents all using chess.com! We will even watch live matches between students so we all can get better! If you have any questions, reach out to Anne Roberts or Garret McDowell.
Einstein Student Book Club
Love to read? Love to share what you think about a book with your friends? Well, come on out to Einstein’s Student-led Book Club! Our first meeting will be September 17 where we will empower each other to help find the first book for our group. All interested students will meet on October 1 to share their book discoveries and choose what we read for the rest of the Fall Semester. All questions can go to Elizabeth Reinhart!
Einstein Ambassadors
All students interested in becoming an Einstein Ambassador need to reach out to Willetta Edinburgh about the application process as soon as possible.
Curious about Ambassadors? These student-leaders will host new and prospective students and families to welcome them to the Einstein family. All students are welcome for this amazing opportunity!
Strategy Games Club
Strategy Games Club got off to an awesome start last week! This year, the club is large enough for two separate game sessions. High School is staying after school every other Friday to play a long form game of Traveler. Lower School is meeting at lunch on Fridays in The Foundation to learn the basics of D&D. All meeting dates can be found on Presence. All students interested can reach out to Garret McDowell for questions.
Astrology Club
One of the hottest hobbies comes to Einstein! Astrology Club will let interested students learn more about this topic and share in the passion that several other students already have! All those interested in knowing more about this club can reach out to Sara Evans or Christine Johnson.
Anime Club
Are you interested in Anime or Manga? Einstein Student Charlie Pabin created his own club, the Anime Club, that meets on Fridays at Lunch in Alexandra’s room to read and watch anime and manga. They discuss the topics, morals, and values that come from them, as well as the memes! The best part? Charlie’s club is the most successful new club this year with new members. If you’re curious, go talk to him or Alexandra!
Fishing/Angler Club
Fishing Club is coming soon! It already has a handful of members, and meetings will begin soon. If you’re interested, please see Stephanie to learn more about the club!
