February is Black History Month! This year, the national theme for Black History Month is Black Health and Wellness. The Einstein School will celebrate Black History Month with decorations and curriculum initiatives throughout the school. The Einstein School committee focusing on this effort choose thirty-six African American pioneers in Health and Wellness to be featured. Teachers and students will be decorating their classroom and suite doors in creative ways to honor these selected individuals.
Every week the Einstein School will highlight interesting facts about the contributions of these individuals to our communities. Information will also be provided about the formation and developments of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s) Medical Schools.
